Do I need a LoRA for a consistent face?
Not to start. Anchor references alone hold identity well for photos. A LoRA locks it harder and pays off once you generate at volume — that is the next lesson in this track.
Why not just use a very detailed prompt instead?
Because no text description is narrow enough to specify one human face. Identity lives in the reference images, not in adjectives.
